Thanks! I had always wanted to do something with barbed wire but then my parents told me how nice it was that I was doing southwestern art and that killed it for me.

This is a theme that's always been in the back of my mind,but I've never really decided how it could effectively be done . The only semi-realistic one I've seen that I really liked was by William Blake .
I like how you approached this ... and if it's any comfort it doesn't feel the least bit "southwestern" t me at all .

Wow... The barbed wire is great, really finishes the piece off. So simple, yet so awesome! Once again, your conrast is great between the circled and flowing lines of the barbed wire and the straight lines of the paint =) The toning is great, really love it :+fav:

How large is this? I like this piece because I hate it. It looks like a schizophrenics daydream. It's brilliant. Have you more mixed media pieces? :alteredreality:
